Millions of animals in Chinese fur farms are subject to cruel husbandry and slaughter practices, including being skinned alive. Such practices are wrong and not consistent with a proper respect for animal life and are not supported by public opinion in the UK. The undersigned oppose the importation of fur pelts, fur garments and garments with fur trim from China to the UK and urge the UK government to ban the importation of such products immediately.
