| | Stardance is a burly adult male bottlenose dolphin who lives in the Moray Firth in the North East of Scotland. He is known to have been associating with the Moray Firth population – the world’s most northern colony – for over six years. He is frequently spotted along the southern coast of the Firth, between Lossiemouth and Rosehearty. He is believed to leave the Moray Firth group in winter, joining the other dolphins on their way south in search of prey, but returning for the warmer summer months. He has formed an alliance with another male named Sailfin, and the two spend their time playing and patrolling.
